I visited Archery World today whilst I was in the area and I was blown away by the level of service that was given by John. He spent quality time inspecting (and kindly adjusting!) my bow and allowed me to shoot on their indoor range using a stabilizer which I ended up purchasing. He was kind, patient and I must say a fantastic coach! I will be going back to see John in the future for any additional equipment or upgrades. Made my day. Thankyou!!! 🙏

For all your archery needs from advice to expertise to all the equipment an experienced archer will need is all under one roof ,now with the benefit of a bigger indoor range to set up any bow before you leave the shop excellent place to visit .

Friendly, expert advice with excellent facilities (including a full 20yd indoor range) and competitive prices. More of a 1 to 1 personal feel compared to some of the larger archery shops and they won’t try to upsell kit that’s not right for an archer at their point in their archery journey. Fantastic go-to archery shop in the North West.

Terrible experience, the guy behind the desk didn’t even sit up, or take his phone out of his hand when we came to ask him questions. Looked frustrated that we even came into the shop. Took us 25 minute to get here aswell. What a wasted trip.

We very much recommend going! My partner and I went here for our 1st bows. John helped us choose our bows and set them up with different draw weights to feel the difference. And let us shoot in the range too to make sure the bows were right for us. He is the exact expert we needed 😊 all lovely folk.

Really disappointing visit to Archery World. The guy was not happy to help us at all, in fact seemed actually annoyed at us for wanting to buy equipment. We were asking how much things were which seemed to exasperate him but nothing was labelled or priced so we had no other way of finding out. He said we didn’t turn up with enough time to try anything, we arrived at 3 o'clock and closing time is 4.30, not sure how much time is enough as he didn’t tell us when we asked what would have been his preference. Managed to convince him to let us try a few bows in the end but didn’t buy anything as he wasn’t interested in giving any details about the bows we were trying and did nothing about our draw lengths or weights - just said that bow has that poundage written on it and this one says this poundage so what more do you want to know. He literally didn’t care. We weren’t confident that what we were trying was a good fit for us and didn’t get the help or information we needed to find out. Maybe he was having a bad day and we got unlucky but it’s put us off and will go elsewhere. Rarely have felt this unwelcome anywhere but my dog was allowed in which was nice.

Great, friendly shop. With very helpful, knowledgeable staff. Recently bought my new Hoyt Stratos from Archery World. The bow arrived within a week It was set up to my draw length with the sight and launcher swapped over from my old bow. All ready to shoot when I collected it. A big thankyou in particular to John and Dan who made this happen. Bow shoots great and looks amazing. Thanks guys.

Absolutely brilliant service. After a break of over 30 years from Archery I decided to have another go at the sport. I had a good chat with John and I decided to buy one of the entry level bows to get me started. John assembled the bow for me and put me on the targets on the range. After he assessed my competence He let me buy the bow. John is extremely clued up and explains everything. Great Shop

Okay, let's talk about customer service.... or rather let's talk about Dan's customer service. SECOND TO NONE!!!! I have been out the game for a while. So I I figured I'd get back into it. So I put a shopping list together and emailed it to them (archery world customer email) this is when I met Dan!!! He sifted through my list, of 11 different items, offered suggestions and swaps on a couple of bits (saving me money) and explained why he thought of the changes and why... string count, arrow spine ect. So we to and throwed to make sure we had the perfect list, then when we had it sorted, I said if ordered it and mentioned my order number (about 5 at night) This is when it gets good!! I asked if they did anything for armed forces.... boy did they, the next day in the morning I had my fed ex next day tracker, Dan had got my order together, put the nocks on the string for me, threw in a bow rest, a stringer and targets free of charge. My order arrived 40 hours after making it, all there with helpful instruction books in there too, all well.packed and not damaged. End line. AMAZING customer service, everything was explain with the whys and wherefores, I wasn't just told what I should get. Fast delivery well packed and super helpful!! Will be returning soong!!!
